High expansion
glfoam® concept |
|
|
The line of high expansion foam generators is based on
Gielle's highly successful experience in fire fighting systems.
High expansion foam systems have been installed in engine
rooms, pump rooms and ro-ro spaces on ships, in turbine
enclosures on offshore installations, for protection of
airport hangars, cable culvert, storage facilities for
dangerous goods and production spaces in industrial buildings.

Low expansion glfoam®
concept |
|
|
Low expansion foam systems are delivered for fire
extinguishing in high-risk areas, deck extinguishing systems
for oil and chemical tankers as well as to the chemical
industry.
|
|
Dual agent unit |
|
|
This system delivers dry powder as well as foam through the
same nozzle. The operator first extinguishes the fire using
powder, then stabilises the situation using foam. This system
is available in modular sections, making it suitable for
helicopter decks on ships, drilling platforms and hospitals
and other applications characterised by complicated fire
suppression conditions.

Operation |
|
|
Our GLFOAM® system can be either remote or locally
operated. We can supply:
· Manual operated system
· Hydraulic operated system
· Electric operated system
All the systems are supplied for easy and safe operation.
Electric and Hydraulic operated systems are controlled through
an advanced PLC controller with distributed I/O on larger
installations.

of applications:
· 1 and 3% AFFF foam liquids for surface hydrocarbon fires.
· 1 and 3% synthetic foam liquids for surface hydrocarbon
fires and high expansion foam systems with an expansion ratio
of 1:1000.
· 3% Synthetic alcohol resistant foam liquid for polar
solvents fires.
All our foam liquids are types approved by the major
classification societies.
